Show Up, Then Let Go

I started with a quick jump rope warm-up, then hit arms and wrapped up with a steady ride on the bike. Nothing special, just showing up and getting the body moving. I’ve learned that consistency matters more than intensity.

When the workout ended, I shifted into focus time. For me, that’s a mix of study, reflection, and a theme song to close things out. Today’s song was Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9. Not my normal jam, but it fit. It reminded me that sometimes you don’t need to chase energy, you need to let calm find you.

I timed the whole block to see how long I could stay disconnected from the outside world. No phone, no noise, just me doing the internal work. The longer I sat there, the clearer things got.

Lesson: You don’t always need to control the morning. Move first, reflect second, then let the day lead you where it’s meant to go.
