Goal Casting, How to Make Your Goals Stick
Most people get lazy with goals. We write them down, feel good for a day or two, then drift.
That’s why I use something called Goal Casting, a way to make your goals pull you forward instead of sit flat on paper.
CAST stands for Create Actionable Steps with Tension.
Actionable means you can control it. You don’t need to wait on someone else or for the perfect moment. It’s yours to move.
Tension means it stretches you. There’s effort involved. You should feel that bit of discomfort that tells you you’re growing.
When you CAST your goals, they start to come alive. They connect what you want long term with what you do right now.
Each month, when you set your Action Plan, those goals should move you closer to your Reach Goals, the bigger vision you’re working toward. Then each week, your HAF+ report helps you review your progress, and each day, your SPA (State, Purpose, Activity) keeps you focused on what matters most.
Everything supports everything else.
That’s how the Brave Cave system works. It gives high achievers a simple process, a recipe for success, so no matter what today brings, there’s always a clear path forward.
CAST your goals.
Stay in motion.
And let the system do what it’s built to do, guide you toward your vision.
