Just Because You’re Good at It Doesn’t Mean It’s Good for you
Early in my career, I got what felt like my big break. A role that looked perfect on paper. I had the title, the paycheck, and the praise. And I was good at it, no doubt about that! :) But inside, it didn’t feel right. Every day I felt like I was performing in a role that wasn’t really mine.
That’s when I learned a lesson I’ve carried with me ever since: just because you’re good at something doesn’t mean it’s good for you.
I didn’t stop there. I went on to lead as a CEO, build and sell companies, and later step into the investor seat. Each move gave me new perspective. I saw what it looked like to chase titles, chase exits, and even chase investments. And I also saw the cost which came in the forms of burnout, imbalance, and feeling disconnected from what really matters.
Now, after living it from every angle, I help high achievers install their own process for balanced success. My F4 Framework: Fitness, Focus, Fraternity, and Finance gives them the structure to win without burning out.
Because the truth is, high achievers don’t need another title or another “big break.” They need a system that makes their success feel aligned, sustainable, and real.
